The growing gallows of America and Pakistan are in discussion these days. US President Donald Trump’s love is not hidden. From the oil agreement with Pakistan to the dinner with Asif Munir in the White House, the relationship between the two is constantly being strengthened. Munir’s visit to America twice in the last two months is a sign of this. Now the former diplomat of India has commented on this whole matter.

Former diplomatic development form of India says that the US has made a strategic mistake by increasing closeness with Pakistan as Pakistan is strategically with China.

Vikas Swaroop said that I think it is a strategic mistake from America that you are going to be in bed with Pakistan but it is already a bed with China. China is a competitive country of America.

He said that we have to look at America’s relations with Pakistan with different lenses than America’s relations with India. I think at the moment America’s relations with Pakistan will not last long as these relations are based on financial benefits. The family of Trump and Vitkoff has to invest in cryptocurrency in Pakistan. But America’s relations with India are more strategic.

On the move to impose 50 percent tariff on India, Swaroop said that if you negotiate with a bully, then Bully increases its demands. So I think we have done the right things. Our strategic autonomy has been the cornerstone of our foreign policy since the 1950s. I do not think any government in Delhi can compromise on this.

He said that Trump is a dealmaker and now he has made it his USP that he is a Peacemaker. See how many cases he tried to mediate, whether it is Thailand and Cambodia, Rwanda or Congo or Armenia or Azerbaijan. He is interfering in every case. The biggest case of these sees India and Pakistan, between which they have claimed to have reconciliation.
